FairWild

FairWild is a certification program that demonstrates that all participating parties, from collectors to end consumers, are exchanging products in a legal and sustainable manner. Accordingly, all stakeholders involved in the process, including local communities who harvest wild plants from the wild, are subject to fair trade rules.

As part of FairWild certification, which is a third-party audit, authorized certification bodies conduct annual field visits.

The program includes products collected from nature such as medicinal and aromatic plants, gums and resins, wild fruits, nuts, seeds and mushrooms, as well as processed ingredients such as essential oils and fats.

Control Union provides services with qualified Turkish auditors in the FairWild certification program.
