FSA (Farm Sustainability Assessment)

Founded in 2002 by the food industry to support the development of sustainable agriculture worldwide, the SAI Platform currently has more than 90 members across the global food and beverage value chain. The purpose of the SAI Platform is to promote the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture and to guide businesses and farmers to produce sustainable agricultural products.

FSA promotes demonstrable continuous improvement in on-farm, social, environmental and other areas through supply chain collaboration with the aim of encouraging businesses along the agricultural value chain towards a common understanding of sustainable agriculture.

Control Union is a global service provider officially accredited by the SAI Platform under the FSA program, a tool that enables the implementation, assessment and improvement of sustainable agricultural principles at the farm level.

Under the program, after applicants establish a management system and complete a self-assessment of the farmers they supply to, a third-party audit is conducted by the Control Union.

Control Union provides services to qualified Turkish auditors in the FSA program.
