ISO 22000:2018 – Food Safety Management System

ISO 22000 is an internationally recognized standard that combines the ISO9001 approach to food safety management and HACCP for food safety assurance at all levels. The standard describes in detail how an organization can demonstrate its ability to control safety regulations to ensure that food is safe.

Food security is a global problem. It can be defined as the practical certainty that injury or illness will not occur as a result of food consumption. We certify a wide range of ISO 22000 categories worldwide.

ISO 22000 can be used by any organization in the food supply chain. The standard incorporates the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system developed by the Codex Alimentarius Commission. It integrates the HACCP plan with prerequisite programs and other food safety system requirements through auditable requirements.

Control Union provides globally accredited certification to this standard in a wide range of food chain categories. These categories include food production, feed production, storage and distribution, or production of packaging and packaging materials.
