JAS – Japanese Organic Standards

The Control Association is accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture according to the JAS standard. The production rules of the standard are determined by the Japanese Agricultural Standards. This regulation is mandatory in Japan, but it also sets the criteria for organic products to be imported from outside Japan
