pH values represent the acidic and alkaline properties of solutions. Low values indicate acidic solutions and high values indicate alkaline solutions.
pH values represent the acidic and alkaline properties of solutions. Low values indicate acidic solutions and high values indicate alkaline solutions. Many chemicals used in textile and fabric manufacturing and fabric washing processes affect the final pH value. Textile products are treated with various acids and bases in the finishing process. The remaining acid and base residues irritate the skin. To avoid irritation of human skin, the pH value of the product should be between 5-7. There is no problem if these values are followed for textiles that are properly washed and decontaminated when necessary. A high pH (>8) causes skin irritation, a very high pH (>9) causes skin burns, and a very low pH (<4) causes skin irritation. You can contact our laboratory for pH determination analysis.
