Global G.A.P.

Global G.A.P. standard, promotes good agricultural practices and provides assurance to consumers about on-farm food production. Global G.A.P. harmful environmental effects in production are minimized, the use of chemicals is reduced and occupational health and safety are ensured.

Global G.A.P. Today, it has become a global standard that is valid all over the world. 70-80% of large retailers and manufacturers in Europe currently use Global G.A.P. (EUREPGAP) member or registered. Global G.A.P. the standard applies to both individual farmers and producer/farmer groups (eg cooperatives, large exporters, packers, etc.); Producer/Farmer groups are also required to meet the requirements for Quality Management System documentation and to have the competence to manage relations between producers. It is an Integrated Farm Assurance system for Control Points and Compliance Criteria. Global G.A.P. The standard is continuously improved to take into account technological and market developments and is updated every four years.
