This is a unique opportunity to join our team in Aspen as a Business Development Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in expanding our portfolio of vacation rentals and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the company.

We understand that transitioning to a new role can be a significant decision, which is why we're offering the flexibility to start this position part-time as you continue working your current situation. This allows you to ease into the role while evaluating the potential for long-term success.


We are seeking someone with strong networking experience and deep connections in Aspen, who is also a self-starter with a relentless drive and a proven track record of overcoming challenging sales problems, regardless of industry.

We are looking for a "sales scientist" - someone who is eager to experiment, test new approaches, gather data, and iterate on strategies to find the most effective ways to drive growth. Success in this role could lead to significant career advancement opportunities, including roles such as Assistant General Manager or General Manager, with potential for national expansion into franchise ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Networking: Leverage your existing connections and build new relationships by attending various networking events to promote the brand throughout Aspen and the surrounding regions. Collaborate with second homeowners, realtors, referral sources, and other industry stakeholders to drive business development.
  • Strategic Growth: Quickly follow up on all inbound leads and proactively seek new sales opportunities through tele-sales, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. Your efforts will be crucial in growing our inventory of vacation rentals in the Aspen area.
  • Sales Experimentation and Iteration: Actively test and refine sales strategies, using data to inform your decisions. You’ll explore different approaches, gather insights, and continuously improve your methods to find what works best in this unique market.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to close, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You'll also be responsible for getting new homes live in our system.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with local operations and support staff to ensure owner satisfaction and maintain strong, lasting relationships with homeowners.
  • Market Analysis: Research local and national competitors, understand local regulations, and stay abreast of industry trends to ensure our competitive edge.
  • Long-Term Growth: After demonstrating success in your role, there is a significant opportunity to grow into a leadership position within the company. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong network and connections in Aspen.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex sales challenges with creative and effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and consult with savvy vacation homeowners.
  • A track record of success in experimenting with and refining sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated, hungry, and driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with G Suite, CRM systems, and a strong aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to prospective homes and attend networking events as required.

  • A base salary complemented by a lucrative commission structure, with a target first-year earnings of $130,000.
