Job Description

Job Title: Data and Integrations Manager

Location:   Los Angeles, CA  

Duration: Fixed Term Until October 2028 

Reports to: COO

 

Background and Job Purpose:  

As a Data and Integrations Manager, you will play a role, managing the data and integrations with internal and external stakeholders. Your role is critical in optimizing the use of data across campaigns, client engagement, and ensuring seamless integration between various systems and applications. You will work closely with the technology, operations and client teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and analyze data to drive marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.

A strong background in data mining, analytics, database administration and project management are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze marketing and integration data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights, reporting on campaign performance and operational metrics.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements for marketing, data, and integration projects.
  • Implementation and Optimization: Lead the implementation of marketing and data integration solutions, optimizing for performance and alignment with marketing strategies.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests to ensure data integration processes are effective, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Training and Support: Develop and provide training and support for marketing and data tools, ensuring teams are knowledgeable and efficient in their use.
  • Maintenance, Monitoring, and Improvement: Proactively monitor and maintain marketing and data integration systems, suggesting improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Negotiation: Engage with clients, third-party vendors, and internal teams to support marketing and data integration efforts, negotiating contracts and ensuring smooth collaborations.
Key Focus Areas:

 
  • Data Feeds: Manage the integration of data feeds from various sources into internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ticketing System API: Oversee the integration of ticketing system APIs with other applications and systems, optimizing workflow efficiency and automation.
  • Third-Party Applications: Coordinate the integration of third-party applications with internal systems, facilitating data exchange and interoperability.
  • Data-Driven Marketing Campaigns: Manage and optimize data-driven marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Customer Data Platforms: Oversee the integration and management of customer data platforms (CDPs) to centralize customer data for marketing purposes.
  • Marketing Analytics and BI Tools: Utilize analytics and business intelligence tools to measure campaign effectiveness and inform marketing strategies.
Key Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in data mining, business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI), data processing frameworks, and report writing.
  • Able to leverage different technologies, such as SQL, RPA, NLP, APIs, and data visualization platforms.
  • Proven experience in marketing, data integration, and analysis, with a strong understanding of marketing strategies and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at working across teams and with external partners.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
