Eureka 89 is the stunning events and dining space on the top floor of Eureka Tower in Melbourne. We host a wide variety of events - corporate lunches, dinners or cocktail parties, media launches, private milestone celebrations and weddings. We also operate a chef’s tasting dining room, open to the public throughout the week.

About the Role

Join our dynamic team at Eureka 89 as a Dining and Events Coordinator ! In this hands-on, fast-paced, customer-driven environment, you will oversee the administration of dining and event bookings, plus manage private dining clients. Your proactive approach and meticulous attention-to-detail will ensure our guests receive an exceptional experience in line with our company values. This is a  full-time position, commencing May 2025 or earlier (depending on the successful candidate’s availability).

Your duties will include:

  • Managing dining and private event enquiries, including bookings and guests’ special requests.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Sales & Event teams to enhance guest experience and ensure timely event management.
  • Attending weekly meetings to meet targets and assist with administrative tasks for smooth office operations.
  • Handling marketing asset management, update the Eureka 89 website, and complete end of month reporting.

A standard working day is expected to be 10:30am – 6:30pm any of the seven days of the week, and you may be required to work on weekends and gazetted public holidays. Flexibility may be required to allow for business necessities.

Requirements

About You

  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with high fluency in English.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and be adaptable.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Entitlement to work in Australia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in dining operations or a dining administration role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with external reservation systems such as Seven Rooms and Ivvy is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress is highly desirable.

A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
