Job Overview We are seeking a
Material Analyst to support a dynamic R&D Drive Engineering Operations team. This group plays a key role in building and operating Drive infrastructure to support both internal and customer storage needs. The successful candidate will work in a shift-based environment, collaborating with employees and third-party contractors to maintain
inventory readiness and ensure uninterrupted
24x7 operations across multiple manufacturing centers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with colleagues at the Longmont Drive Center to provide 24x7 operations support .
- Work in a team-based shift environment to monitor and maintain inventory readiness .
- Participate in troubleshooting incident calls to restore inventory when needed.
- Track and maintain Drive Inventory Level Objectives , ensuring compliance with operational goals.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and visual management tools to monitor inventory levels and service interruptions.
- Maintain constant situational awareness of incidents, escalations, and events related to inventory operations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency.
- Work closely with the Drive Development team to support ongoing drive operations.
Required Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in Inventory Control processes .
- Exposure to Monitoring and Logging tools such as SAP, Windchill, and Enviance .
- Familiarity with Drive Tracking Databases .
- Experience in shipping and receiving .
- Strong organizational and communication skills .
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment with clear SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications - Some exposure to chemical handling , but minimal chemical work is required.
- Looking for someone just above entry level who is trainable and interested in a potential transition to direct employment .
