Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an RN Case Manager - Infusion Nurse . This role combines case management responsibilities with hands-on infusion nursing, offering a dynamic and fulfilling career opportunity. As an RN , you will oversee patient care, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a wide range of RN infusion therapies, including IV antibiotics, hydration, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), pain management, and chemotherapy.
• Maintain expertise in infusion best practices, including PICC line and central line management, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot infusion-related concerns, provide patient and family education, and ensure safe and effective medication delivery.
• Develop and manage comprehensive care plans for clients requiring infusion therapy and other skilled nursing needs.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• As a Nurse you will provide leadership, support, and guidance to home health aides and LPNs.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations as well as BrightStar Care's high standards of care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
• Experience administering infusions, including various types of specialized infusion therapies.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in home health, hospice, or a related field as a nurse.
• Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI) certification.
