Our Finance team ensure we are accountable and on track to company strategies. Their responsibilities include forecasting, in-season management, and analysis across business units. From sales and margin to operations and expenses, our Finance team provides consistent, accurate information to cross-functional partners to support PetSmart's growth initiatives.

The Senior Automation Developer role is primarily responsible for configuring and developing robotic process automation workflows using a suite of tools (Alteryx, UiPath, ServiceNow, etc.) to help optimize and automate business processes. You will be working with the broader automation development team to design, develop and support various workflows that will help PetSmart associates from all departments and functional areas do work more efficiently and effectively.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.  This position in onsite in our Phoenix Home Office. 

Essential Functions:

• Work with automation team, and key stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and design optimal solutions
• Independently lead the design and development of automating a business process—from start to finish—without requiring assistance
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable workflow solutions using UiPath and Alteryx
• Design and develop reports and dashboards to enhance end-user functionality and experience
• Maintain and grow understanding of UiPath, Alteryx and ServiceNow modules and capabilities
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and stability of workflows
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Conduct workflow testing based on positive and negative test cases
• Work collaboratively with business partners to deliver automation solutions in a reasonable timeframe
• Support junior developers in their design and development efforts

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of automation design, development and implementation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field is desirable but not required
• Must have effective communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work well with team members, stakeholders, etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Exhibit dependability, a positive attitude, and attention to detail
• SQL experience helpful but not required
• Experience in C#.NET/VB.NET/Other OOP Languages helpful but not required
