Role:   ServiceNow Developer

Location: Onsite in Norman, Oklahoma 

Pay Range:  $55,000 - $75,000 / year depending on experience 

**Onsite requirement - Must be authorized to work in the United States now, and in the future, without assistance .

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team and assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform . This role will involve working with senior developers and IT staff to configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow applications to support business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in IT development and gain hands-on experience with ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Support the customization and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other modules based on business requirements.
  • Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts to improve automation and efficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and end-users to understand functional needs and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, and documentation to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to enhance system performance and usability.
  • Provide basic user support and training on ServiceNow functionalities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and an eagerness to learn ServiceNow development.
  • Programming experience with PHP or Java .
  • Basic experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other scripting languages .
  • Understanding of ITSM (IT Service Management) principles and IT workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations .
  • Familiarity with database concepts (SQL, MySQL, or Oracle) .
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies .
