Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE  with our client in  Plainview, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Power Engineer IV formulates design concepts for engineering problems. 
• They also lead technical projects, monitor project scope, and respond to engineering concerns. 
• Well-versed in DC/DC converter topologies and able to perform worst-case circuit and thermal analyses and evaluate new technologies for power electronics
• Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns
• Provide design engineering support on emergent issues
• Formulate design concepts for engineering problems and sets the scope and parameters of projects
• Participate in project planning and implementation
• Monitor project scope and confirm changes using project management processes
• Support the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Initiate and lead technical studies and projects
• Accurately record and store test measurements, data, and results

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $123,745 - $175,000 / year.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and development of switch mode power supplies and magnetic components, transformers, and inductors.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in SPICE Software (Advanced)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in CAD Software (Intermediate)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in MathWorks MATLAB (Intermediate)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Integration Testing
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Hardware Testing Methods

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
