Skateworld San Diego has been the city’s go-to roller skating rink for nearly 50 years, offering a fun, family-friendly environment for skaters of all ages. Our birthday and group parties are a huge part of what we do, and we’re looking for energetic and outgoing Party Hosts to help create unforgettable experiences for our guests!

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Checks in party attendees.
• Keeps guests informed by noting timing of party progression.
• Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Maintains proper party ambiance with an enthusiastic and energetic attitude.
• Ensures the party follows the correct timeline.
• Prepares party area by clothing tables, setting decorations, napkins, service plates and utensils.
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and proper food & beverage food handling policies.
• Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing participants.
• Maintains party area by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages and being alert to the guests needs.
• Concludes party experience by thanking guest and inviting them to return.
• Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guest.
• Cleans and prepares the party area for the next event.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, energetic, and comfortable interacting with kids and families.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available to work weekends, as most parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
