**Job Summary:**
As a Barista at Starbucks, you will be the face of our brand, delivering outstanding service that creates genuine connections with our customers. You will craft high-quality beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that customers have a remarkable experience every time they visit. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and food products following Starbucks standards.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking their orders.
- Educate customers on our menu offerings, including seasonal products and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and POS system efficiently.
- Restock supplies as needed, ensuring that all products are fresh and properly displayed.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
- Uphold Starbucks' values and commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about coffee preparation and brewing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
